Each year, Troop 45 conducts one outing in which 2nd year Webelos are invited to participate. This outing serves as a way for the Webelos to become acquainted with Troop 45 and it allows them to complete one of the requirements for the Arrow of Light Award.
On 6 April, we will go to the Troop camping area at Storrs Pond where we will introduce some of the basic Scout skills and enjoy a dutch oven meal. Scout skills introduced will include safe hiking, fire building and dutch oven cooking. After lunch we will have a game of capture the flag.
We will meet at the main entrance to Storrs Pond and hike around the pond to the Troop camp site where most activities will take place.
