Tenderfoot Skills Camp
As part of the New Scout Training Program, the troop offers a campout geared specifically to the needs of scouts working on Tenderfoot. This campout meets requirements 1, 2, and 3 for Tenderfoot, and will introduce new scouts to Troop 45 outing procedures. It also offers opportunities to work on other requirements for Tenderfoot and Second Class.
In addition to advancement, the outing will include some activities just for fun.
We will meet at Storrs Pond Area 1 on Saturday morning, and hike the half mile to our campsite at the end of the pond. We will make camp at our site, and engage in training and fun activities for the day. The campfire will include a dutch oven dessert. Sunday morning will be a quick pack and go.
