Lebanon Airport Visit
One of the requirements for Aviation Merit Badge is to visit an airport and study the operations there. This outing provides the opportunity to get a closeup view of general aviation operations and FAA Control Tower operations at our local airport.
We will meet at Storrs Pond after the Scouting for Food picnic, and drive to the general aviation terminal at Lebanon Airport. We will then divide into patrols, and each patrol will participate in the following activities:
FBO hangar tour.
Flight School tour.
General aviation ramp tour.
(Note that given the current security issues at airports some of these activities may be impossible.)
