Preliminary 1.0 OverviewThis is a "just for fun" campout at our campsite at Storrs Pond. We'll set up some fun activities for the day on Saturday, camp at the site, and pack out on Sunday Morning. This campout can be used to meet several requirements for Tenderfoot through First Class.2.0 Concept2.1 DescriptionWe will meet at the Richmond School Teachers' Parking lot Saturday morning, and hike the half mile to our campsite at the end of the pond. We will make camp at our site, and then conduct a series of games and other fun learning activities includingWe'll have a troop campfire in the evening. Sunday morning will be a quick pack and go. 2.2 Schedule of Events
Saturday, 4 Nov 2.3 Expected Conditions and DifficultyThe hike in to camp is easy on wide trails, but be properly equipped and packed for a hiking approach.Check the weather and dress appropriately. Class A uniform is required for travel and for flags; class B otherwise. The campsite is an established site.
