CHaD HERO is a festive, fun, family-oriented fundraising event for Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. The event includes running and walking events as well as food vendors and live music on the Dartmouth Green. A Positive Tracks KidZone offers a climbing wall, mechanical safari animal rides, games, and kid's activities.
This fundraiser supports:
The Child Life Program: Relies on donor dollars for operational support as well as supplies like toys, books and DVDs which are used to supplement therapy as well as just letting kids play and be kids.
Intensive Care Nursery: Fundraising support has helped purchase additional Kangaroo Chairs for the Intensive Care Nursery. Studies show these chairs provide significant benefits to premature infants.
Molly's Place: Created by families, for families, Molly's Place at the CHaD Family Center offers a welcoming space to provide families with education & community connections. Molly's Place is 100% funded by donations.
Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD) is one of only 205 nationally recognized children's hospitals and New Hampshire's only comprehensive full-service children's hospital providing an extended system of care and advanced pediatric services. CHaD welcomes over 60,000 unique patients per year throughout 14 locations across Vermont and New Hampshire.

We will be doing this in conjunction with race staff who greatly appreciate our efforts to help.
The Saturday crew will meet at 0800 on Saturday morning at the Ray School parking lot. The work is expected to take about 2 hours.
The Sunday crew will meet at 1530 on Sunday afternoon at the Ray School parking lot. The work is expected to take about 1.5 hours.
